Meet the Founders

Mehtaab Dhillon (Top Left) – I’m a second-year Psychobiology major at UCLA, driven to serve my community through outreach and efforts to address health inequities. I’m currently involved in clinical volunteering and research, with plans to pursue a career in medicine. Shaped by my experiences in the Central Valley, I’m committed to devoting my efforts to the community that raised me.

Dzifa Ackuayi (Bottom Left)- I’m a second year Economics major and English minor at Harvard College with a passion for community service and equitable access to education. I am involved in pro-bono legal aid, voting rights advocacy, and legal and arts research on campus, and intend to pursue a career in law. As a life-long resident of the Central Valley, I am excited to give back to the community that raised me.

Simrit Shergill (Top Right) – I am a second year Molecular and Environmental Biology major at UC Berkeley with a strong desire to help my community and assist in guiding others down their educational paths. I am currently involved in hospice volunteering, do clinical work in urgent care and plan to go to medical school. Being born and raised in the Central Valley, I am eager to assist those within my community.

Saloni Bansal (Bottom Right) – I am a second year Biological Sciences major with a minor in Behavioral Economics and Business in the joint B.S./M.D. program at Drexel University.  I am actively involved in community volunteering, patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR), and translational biomedical research.  I am driven by a dedication to advancing equity and accessibility in healthcare and education, and look forward to using my experiences to make a positive impact on the Central Valley.

The Resolution Run 5K is a community event organized by the Fourfold Resolution Initiative to promote health, unity, and compassion. Each year, participants come together to support local victims of domestic violence while raising awareness about the importance of physical and mental well-being. Proceeds from the run help fund programs for women and children rebuilding their lives.
